Philips Vision Plus H7 High-Beam bulbs Review

I will not get into details of how to change the high-beam bulb. If you don't know how, RTFM!

Since I upgraded to bi-xenon headlights I wanted to have the best possible light output on my high-beam lights as well. The standard H7 bulb made by Osram is a good bulb with yellowish colour and not "optimal" light output.

A good deal on eBay got me a pair of brand new Philips Vision Plus bulbs for $30. Philips claims a 50% more light on the road and a white-ish effect. I have to say there was a big improvement over the standard bulbs. I could clearly see at least 20m more ahead of me which, for me, makes a good run for the money. Nevertheless, the bulb does not emit pure white light but rather a white-to-yellow one.
