Box:

The terminal port:

Sub box to exact dimensions, screwed and sealed with silicone sealant and wood glue

The sub terminal test fitting

Installation:

Rear view of the sub. Cloth identical to the BMW OEM used in the trunk, custom tailored to the sub box

Port closer. There's a rubber gasket between the port and the box to seal properly

Sub installed with a nice grill I picked from an audio shop for 13 Euro. The sub is secured with 12 screws but only 4 are visible which secure the grill.

Fits here as well just in case I want to load stuff in the trunk. There's super strong velcro below to hold it in place.

The bass control module of the amplifier.

The 5th channel of the amp is dedicated to sub, with an output of 200WRMS @ 4Ohm which beautifully drives the sub with no distortion.

Heat coming so a 120mm fan is installed to cool down the car pc and headunit environment. It's triggered by the remote start of car pc.
